Mintleaf, such a wonderful restaurant. Located in the heart of Dubai, this restaurant has been on my favorites list since my first meal there. I have dined at Mintleaf many times and have even celebrated my Silver wedding anniversary there and the flavors of the food have always remained on top and lingered in my tastebud memories .
Mintleaf of London is an Indian restaurant originated in London and is now here to stay in DIFC with the Executive Chef Vivek Kashiwale who has won many awards and has a lot of experience in the industry.
We had the pleasure of being among the first few to try the new dishes on the menu which Chef Vivek has recently showcased and I was blown away with the flavors and extremely satisfied with the presentation and service, also secretly delighted with the elements of theatre.

Make sure you definitely have Badami Kulfi Kebab with a raspberry sauce and the Paneer Ke Ande which has a huge surprise element and elevates the vegetarian experience
The soft shell crabs in the Kurkure Kekde was a delight to eat and had mild flavors which accentuated the crab.
Just to mention, the Starry Nights Chicken Tikka also has a surprise element which make the charcoal on its surface and its succulent and yum!
There are so many lovely dishes for starters and the main course that tasting everything on one day was just not possible, we had so many starters and we were so full that we could only try one main course as we also wanted to make sure that we did justice to the desserts too. I have had many of the main courses before and each one are really good. There are also many new dishes that I will have to go back for again.
Have to mention the Gulab Jamun Cheesecake, which blows us away everytime we eat it and the sorbets cannot be missed.
Chef ends the experience with a Paan Panna Cotta which is smooth and cleans your palate.
There is a lot of novelty in theatre (presentation of food) which Chef Vivek has introduced but when the theatre fades it is innovation of new dishes and flavors flavors all the way that makes me want to go back for more
