My family had a relaxed breakfast brunch at “The Bench at Pavilion downtown Dubai” an off shoot of Vida Downtown Dubai.

We never do breakfast out so this was a first for us and we spent a few quality hours together ( what helped was the wifi which didn’t connect so I was guilty of picking up my phone only to take pictures)

The wonderful view if the Burj Khalifa  towering over us  and the upcoming Opera added to the  indulgent meal in the eclectic downtown area of Dubai.

The Pavilion has a casual atmosphere and for 99Aed/per person the breakfast experience is excellent. The greenery which acts as a backdrop to the food provides a freshness and colour to the spaces.

First, as the name suggests, there’s a long “bench” absolutely laden with cereals, yogurt, fruit, granola, sandwiches, pastries, cheese and fresh juices. You can go back as many times as you like to fill your plates and your stomach.

The cereal bags and milk and juice bottles were so inviting and the detox shot and yoghurt shots were just right. Really enjoyed the noodles too which were full of flavour  and of the sandwiches loved the focaccia.

I tried to stay away from the dessert till later but the tarts and teacakes and cookies were tempting.

Next up from the kitchen we could choose one of the hot meals and we had a wide variety to choose from.

I would highly recommend the pasta, chicken salad and avocado on toast .

Now it was time for coffee and something sweet

Though my stomach was screaming now I  had totally enjoyed every bit of these breakfast options in a cafe with picnic tables.

Time for a stroll down the boulevard and some photo opportunities.

All in all a great morning out.
