I was invited to Sugar Factory and was quite surprised with their dinner menu as otherwise I would’ve thought that this place is for breakfast or dessert .
We started with their huge Goblets that come in a large variety of flavors and are laden with sugary treats which can be shared by 3-4 people. There is also a choice of individual drinks and we tried the Peach and Lavender Blossom which was delightful.
The starters are meals by themselves and can be shared. We had the Sugar Factory Rainbow Sliders that were the only place where you get 5 different types of proteins such as a Grilled Angus Beef Patty, Fried Chicken and Fish and Buffalo Chicken, on a single plate of coloured sliders. Although they were delicious the way they were, I still found them a little bland for my Indian palette and would recommend adding more sauce to them.
We also tried the Popcorn Shrimp Margarita which was tossed in the chef’s special glaze and served with tartar sauce and the Ninja Fries which was a large serving of either french fries or sweet potato fries topped with cheese, guacamole, sour cream and jalapeños.
They also have an excellent selection for mains and we first tried the Tamarind Chili Shrimps which was mild but tasty and the Grilled Lamb Chops which came with mash, vegetables and was tender.
I have to say the Mixed Mushroom, Sweet Corn and Courgette Risotto was my favorite. It was a huge portion of flavor with a perfect parmesan wafer that accompanied the dish.
The meal was huge but they were not sending us home without desserts. Their signature dessert is the Sticky Toffee Pudding which comes sizzling with a large dollop of vanilla ice cream that is not overbearingly sweet and has a mild date flavor with caramel poured over which sizzles on the hot skillet and is mouth watering.
If you just want to come in for breakfast or a tea time snack or just a treat at any time of the day then you must try their signature Insane Milkshakes which are huge and laden with sweet treats. We tried the Tie Dye Milkshake with was a vanilla milkshake with chocolate ganache that came with two horns of cotton candy and rainbow sprinkles
You also have an option of a selection of coffees and teas and a yummy Smores Hot Chocolate
Finally, I couldn’t go home without my ultimate breakfast favorites which were tweaked here with different flavors.
We got the Lotus French Toast topped with a huge dollop of vanilla ice cream and the Charcoal Waffles drizzled with white chocolate and topped with cotton candy ice cream (drool)
Both of these were extremely delicious and I strongly recommend that you try them when you visit.
Though I generally do not recommend sugary things to people, I also believe its about balance and its alright to treat yourself in moderation.
Cant finish before the mentioning their sweet shop and keep a look out for their signature lollies with their bling sticks which will be available very soon in their store
A big shoutout to the store manager Mr. Deepak Negi for the sweet pampering.
Thank you for having us
